Using Excel 2003 and 2007. Is there an option for checking spelling as you
type (similar to W2003) so incorrect words are underlined? Thanks |

EXCEL 2007
Office Button / Excel Options / Proofing / AutoCorrect options (at the top on the right hand side). Please hit Yes if my comments have helped. Thanks. "dp" wrote: Using Excel 2003 and 2007. I found the AutoCorrect but no choice for spell check as you type - I would
like to see the misspelled word not have excel just change it. "trip_to_tokyo" wrote: EXCEL 2007 Office Button / Excel Options / Proofing / AutoCorrect options (at the top on the right hand side). Hi dp, sorry, I have just had another look around.
I typed in:- spell check as you type - into the F 1 Help Facility and looked at the first 100 topics but could see nothing. Doesn't look as though 2007 has got it unless somebody else know better. Apologies. "dp" wrote: I found the AutoCorrect but no choice for spell check as you type - I would like to see the misspelled word not have excel just change it. No such feature in Excel.
Excel does not have the same word processing capabilities as Word. You can spellcheck after you type, not during.
