I am not able to edit or check spelling on my protected(but unlocked cells)

Hi Fredonia,
If unprotecting a worksheet within a macro is out of the question then copy the sheet to another page or application and spell check it there. --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "Fredonia" wrote..
