Default csv file will not open

Hi,

we are exporting (save as) report data to csv on a Novell network. when
Excel 2003 sp1 attempts to open the csv file, we get a message that the file
is read only. the file does not open.

we can export the data to csv on the local computer and open it in excel
just fine. we can open the csv file that has been created on the network
drive using notepad, word and access.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
Scott
