I got some incredible useful information from this website,
http://contextures.com/tiptech.html and have created dependent drop-down lists. Note to Debra Dalgleish: Do not end supporting your website. It is wonderful. My question is, how can I hide the validation formula for the dependent list. I am using it as a training (and research) item, wanting my charges to figure out how to do it as I did, Search the Web. Thus, I want to create a File for them to see, and then figure out how it is done. Thanks you Pepper |

You could replace the =OFFSET by another named range and put the offset in
the named range. But they still can look. Alternatively, you could protect the sheet/workbook, but we all know that the passwords can be broken so if you have someone who is especially resourceful in your class, they'll figure it out that way as well. -- HTH, Barb Reinhardt If this post was helpful to you, please click YES below. Thanks, I'm glad you like the website, and I hav no plans to end it any
time soon. Instead of giving people a copy of the worksheet, you could do a demo, or make a video to show it in action. Then ask people to research how you did it. I appreciate the suggestion, I have software to do video, and publish as
either swf or exe. I will give it a try. "Debra Dalgleish" wrote: Thanks, I'm glad you like the website, and I hav no plans to end it any time soon.
