Hi
Is it possible to put something similar to a list box that has a drop down menu in a spreadsheet? It would have a calendar option that a date can be selected? Something similar to an online travel company that enables you to chose a date of depature TIA Steve |

See Ron de Bruin's site for use of the calendar control. http://www.rondebruin.nl/calendar.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 22 Oct 2007 08:35:32 -0700, Steve wrote: Hi Is it possible to put something similar to a list box that has a drop down menu in a spreadsheet? Thanks for the reply
I've just been through the tutorial and found it really interesting as I've never done anything in VBA before. I got a bit stuck towards the end as I was trying to add the Custom Menu Item to my toolbar that appears when I right click on the spreadsheet Holding and dragging the custom menu doesn't let me right click on the screen to open the toolbar that I want I have no problems adding it to the toolbars at the top of the screen, but I would find it easier if I could right click on the screen and select it from there. On the calendar that can be downloaded from the website it's available with the right click toolbar Any suggestions how I can do it TIA Steve On 22 Oct, 17:33, Gord Dibben <gorddibbATshawDOTca wrote: Steve See Ron de Bruin's site for use of the calendar control. http://www.rondebruin.nl/calendar.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 22 Oct 2007 08:35:32 -0700, Steve wrote: Hi Is it possible to put something similar to a list box that has a drop down menu in a spreadsheet? Have a look at data Validation
You need a list of values (dates in your case) elsewhere on the same sheet best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Steve" wrote in message oups.com...
