Default password problem

i have an old dell latitude laptop computer with xp home edition. i
hardly use this computer
and in doing so i forgot my password. i can't log in, is there anyway
to bypass the password and get into the computer so that i can delete
the password and operate with out it.

I don't know what this has to do with Excel, but here's the solution:
Boot into Safe Mode (tap F8 repeatedly when you switch it on). Log on as The
Administrator. No password required unless you know otherwise! Then in
Control Panel Users re-set your user password.
Please post to a Windows XP group for any other problems with the Operating
System.
