If you are just wanting to do a custom SORT, with multiple keys, then do Data
Sort and follow the menu to select each key and order.......... hth Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "kylnn" wrote: Column A has the date the job is scheduled to run, column B has width of the book, and column C has the length of a book. I am trying to run a machine efficiently by sorting the width and length columns in an order so the machine doesn't have to make a lot of adjustments to produce a book. Sort by the date, then by the size. The only problem is that the last size for that day may be 8x10, so i would like the next day to sort to the closest size for that day. I hope that make sense. -- kylnn ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kylnn's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33449 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=532594 |
