Default WHAT ARE REASONS THAT A FORMULA WILL NOT RESPOND TO PRECEDENTS?

I am using a simple addition formula, but its precedents have if and lookup
formulas. the precedents change values correctly but the simple addition
formulas do not. If I copy, "paste special" on the precedent cells the
addition cells correct and stay that way when I undo the paste.

Look to see if your calculations are set to manual under
toolsoptionscalculation, if so change to automatic
