Default formulas are reading weird

when I click on the function key and try to input a formula by clicking on
different cells (ie B6, C3), the formula records something wacky....like
[RC]-1,[RC]C. Please help so I can track the formula in the future and
others can see where the calculations are coming from. If I type the exact
number, it's ok. But I want to be able to click on the cells instead.

Hi!

It sounds like you are using the R1C1 reference style.

Are your column headers numbers and not letters?

To change it goto ToolsOptionsGeneral Tab.
Uncheck R1C1 reference style.
