Default Help :Circular References

i am trying to create a formula where the total is constantly changing
much like the the hockey standings..when you add in 2 points to the total
you have a new total, but then i have to be able to use the new total to
add points to
is there a formula i can use that will not give me the error message

Default Help :Circular References

Just an Idea,
you will need to use 3 columns, one column called this weeks points the
other called last weeks points, the third called points this week
create a macro so, that, before you enter new data, cut this weeks
points, and paste special to last weeks points column, then enter
this weeks points in the apropriate place, formulate the point this
week like this weeks points minus last weeks points, this will give you
the individual player points.... well I think you get the idea, by the
way, all the columns do not have to be in the viewing area, depends
what kind of a pool you are working on, is it a points pool or a
fantasy legue
