one of our users has recently aquired a new machine. He had excel sheets on
his old one with Macros in the sheet. when i have moved the sheet, copied the
sheet ortried to export the macros, i can never get them to appear on his new
machines excel sheet.

All you need to do is provide the user with copies on the new PC of the .XLS
files from the user's old PC. That's all it takes. Do you mean you're trying
to manipulate individual worksheets within .XLS workbook files?

Did the User have a Personal.xls file on their old machine that was not
ported to the new one?
