Multiple Substitutes
Hello,
I would like to substitute 3 different characters in my cells. I have =SUBSTITUTE(A1,"/","")....but I would also like to substitute "-" and "&" for "" all in the same formula. Can it be done? Thank you. -- Jeff |

Hi!
You have to nest them like: =SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"/",""),"-",""),"&","") Biff "Jeff" wrote in message ... Hello, I would like to substitute 3 different characters in my cells. You might want to try the latest version of Longre's free morefunc.xll
add-in with functions that process regular expressions. Jeff wrote: Hello, I would like to substitute 3 different characters in my cells. I have =SUBSTITUTE(A1,"/","")....but I would also like to substitute "-" and "&" for "" all in the same formula. Can it be done? Thank you. |
