Default formula displays as a formula, not as its result

Hi,

I am using excel 2007.

I have a simple formula in a cell , the cell displays the formula, not its
result.

I have checked under excel options/advanced/worksheet, the option 'show
formulas ....' is un checked.

Formats are set to 'general'

Help please ?

Thanks

KK

Maybe...
Did you change the cell format to "General" after you entered the
formula? If so, select the cell, hit F2, hit Enter. The formula should
now show a return value.
