Formula used to calculate daily employment hours ...
Excel version 2003...I need to calculate overtime hours....how do you
differentiate between AM PM....how do you caluculate when hours run from one day to the next ex. 11:00pm - 2:00Am the following day |

A1 = 11:00 PM B1 = 2:00 AM If you want the returned value displayed like - 3:00 - format the cell as h:mm and use this formula: =B1-A1+(B1<A1) If you want the returned value displayed as a decimal - 3 - then use this formula: =(B1-A1+(B1<A1))*24 ...I need to calculate overtime hours....
