Default Combinging two spreadsheets

I am trying to combine two spreadsheets into one spreadsheet. If the items in
a column on both spreadsheets match I want a third column on the first
spreadsheet to automatically input a value from the second spreadsheet.
Spreadsheet #1 Spreadsheet #2
A111 A111 P
A114 A124 S
A222 A222 O
Match =
Spreadsheet #1 A111 P
A222 O

Bruce,

Sounds like a Vlookup formula, have a look at this web site or search here
for examples of which there are many. HTH
