Default Different Formats for Multiple Sheets within a Workbook

Hi

I would like to set up a template where formatting for Sheet1, Sheet2, and
Sheet3 of the Workbook are standardized, but each Sheet's format differs
from the others.

Can this be done?
Thanks.

Save the formatted file as a template (.xlt). To open the template use the
File menu. (File,New and select the sheet from the Spreadsheet solutions tab).

SAve the file as a normal spreadsheet when you have entered data and use the
template when you want to create a similar file.

Peter

Method to ensure that every New workbook is based on your Template if that is
your desire.........

Create the workbook as you wish then save as a Template.

Store this Template as BOOK.XLT in your XLSTART folder.

Now in ToolsCustomizeCommandsFile you will find two "New" buttons.

One is New...(note the ellipsis). This will bring up the Taskpane and its
options for "Blank workbook" or "Templates" which forces you to scroll to your
Template and click on that.

The other is New with no ellipsis. This one will insert a new workbook based
on your Template from the XLSTART folder.
