Default Sharing Violation

After I create a new Excel file, and then try to make changes to it, I get a
message that says I can't save it because it's a "sharing violation". Could
anyone help me with this?

Hi Carolan,

This might help. Go into your add/remove programs and then check the "Show
Updates" box. Look for excel or office update KB978522. If it is there remove
it and check to see if you can save.
