Default View 2 workbooks to compare

I have excel 2000 SR-1
I would like to view worksheets from 2 different workbooks at the same time
to compare informatin, is that possible with this version?

Default View 2 workbooks to compare

Yes, with one file open you can do File | Open and select the second
file. Then use Window | Arrange | Vertical to see the two files side-
by-side. Each window is independent of the other one, so you can
select different sheets to view etc.
