Default VLOOKUP

Hi

I have a spreadsheet which I need to download from a web site into another
spreadsheet daily. I currently use VLOOKUP and the cell references to look
up the function, but the data in the spreadsheet which is data belonging to
various people often ends up being in a different column, is it possible for
VLOOKUP to look for a person's name as well as the cells the data is stored
in?

Thanks in advance
Kath
