In excel I make lists by selecting (highlighting) a range of cells and then
typing a name for the list on the 'Name Box' found on the left of the 'Fomula
Bar'. How do I edit this list? Can I rename or delete this list? How?

Hi
you have two ways first one go to where you typed the name on the left of
the formula bar and click on the down arrow there you can choose your name,
second option go to name manager and click on it,if you want to delete it you
will be able to do it from name manager
