You mean, set the individual choices in a drop-down list to different colors?
You don't want to ask that here in this forum; drop-down lists pertain to VBA programming only, don't they? You should transfer this to the "Excel Programming" forum. --- "Kay" wrote: Is there a way to color code an already existing drop down list? |

You can't colour code the items in a data validation drop down list. You
could use conditional formatting to colour the cells or the font after an item is selected. There are instructions here for conditional formatting: http://www.contextures.com/xlCondFormat01.html Kay wrote: Is there a way to color code an already existing drop down list? -- Debra Dalgleish Contextures www.contextures.com/tiptech.html Blog: http://blog.contextures.com |
