Default autofilter

hi all

got a situation where i need to apply autofilter to column headers,
however there are various same column headers in the same worksheet, whenever i apply autofilter to a header, data in the similar headers would also be included, any idea how 2 avoid this?

Make each header unique.......
_Cost, C_ost, Co_st ,Cos_t, Cost, Cost_,
or
cost., cost.., cost., cost..

or someting like that.........
