Default How do I get my Excel 2007 worksheet to go beyond 65536 rows?

I saved the workbook as a .xlsx before I even started creating a spreadsheet,
and I can't get any spreadsheet in the workbook to go beyond the old limits
of 65536. I thought 2007 automatically had row limits of over a million.
