by using the if statement:have all like numbers marked in column
I have a column of numbers in numerical order. I am checking the number
above and the number below. If they are the same, I want both numbers to have "x". By using the IF statment I can get all but 1 number checked. Any ideas |

Hi,
Why don't you show us a sample of the data, your question is unclear. For example, if the number above is the same should that item be checks or do both the number above and below need to be the same. If your data looks like this 1 2 2 3 3 3 4 4 5 Should there be a check beside the second and 3rd numbers? for the three 3's should each of them be checked or only the middle one? Also, Why don't you show us the formula you are using. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Learin Curve" wrote: I have a column of numbers in numerical order.
