Not sure if my issue is Access or Excel but believe it is Excel.
I have a Speadsheet that pulls data from another spreadsheet on a network. The spreadsheet pulls back correct and everything works fine on it. I can even have mulitple users pull up the spreadsheet in read-only format. But the issue i have is that i have this spreadsheet linked to Access. And when a second user attempts to log into the query it tells them that the spreadsheet is already opened by another user and that you do not have permissions to view this. I have shared the workbook and protected it and it does not work either way. How can i get this to allow multiple users in the spreadsheet when going through Access??? |
