Default Formatting of cells in a locked worksheet. EG shading

I have constructed a worksheet that is protected and has unlocked cells for
users to wnter information.

I need these users to be able to shade these unlocked cells or alter the
font colour however these functions are locked.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Unprotect the workbook and then reprotect it as follows: Tools, Protection,
