Default Pivot table active dropdown

I have a pivot table set up with 4 drop-down fields. Is it possible to set up
these fields so that the selection from the first drop-down restricts the
choices available from the second?
eg
1st field - Region North, South, East, West
2nd field - zone A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I...

When Region South is selected, only those zones that are in the south are
available to select from drop-down field 2?

Help gratefully appreciated! :)

Thanks Herbert,
Sorry, I should have mentioned that I am using Excel 2003. I have tried to
open the file but I can't see the code. Are you able to save the file as a
..xls for 2003?

For info, the data structure in your example file is exactly the same as I
am trying to work with.

The solution works great. Just need to make sure I can translate it into my
sheets now and hope that the calculated column doesn't slow the table down
too much!!!
Thanks for your help, R
