Default How do I select the column cursor jumps to when I hit end enter?

I know the cursor automaticaly jumps to the last column in that row with data
or formating - but I have tried to delete the rows inbetween the one I want
it to end on and the one it is actually ending on and it still jumps to the
same column. Is there a way to tell the spreadsheet to end on a specific
column?
