I'm working to close out our last fiscal year numbers. From July 2007
- June 2008 we've used the light yellow fill for the payment rows and no fill for the billing. I've now imported the complete payment history for the year that has a light blue color fill. Not every name was billed or paid, so now I have alternating no fill/light yellow/ light blue rows, but they aren't symmetrical, so I can't simply delete duplicates. Is there a way for Excel to recognize rows by fill color and then tell it to delete just those rows? |

Chip and Bob have written some functions that may be useful. You could
probably identify the fill color in a helper column, then filter on the helper column and delete the desired rows. http://cpearson.com/excel/Colors.aspx http://xldynamic.com/source/xld.ColourCounter.html "Excel<" wrote: I'm working to close out our last fiscal year numbers.
