Default Microsoft Office 2007 - Excel

In contemplating upgrading from MS 2003 to MS 2007, I installed the MS 2007
trial version and encountered problems with an Excel spreadsheet that
contains formulas and links to a different application. The 2007 version does
not recognize the application name. This spreadsheet sheet is used daily and
is an important part of my job function. How can I get this spreadsheet to
function properly in the 2007 version of Excel? Upgrades should be smoothe
transitions from one version to another without alot of hassle and rework. I
didn't get very far with the trial version because of this problem and had to
remove it from my system in order to regain use of the spreadsheet.

Below is the link. In Excel 2007 I get a #NAME error message. Also, I was
not prompted to update the links when I opened the spreadsheet.

=TONE(C2,$L$1,ILX|Q!'EMR,PE')

Thanks.

Hi Lou,

I can not find the TONE function in Excel in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian,
Portuguese, Finnish or Russian
Do you know what the English version of the function is?

I think you had an Add-in in Excel 2003 that you don't have installed in Excel 2007.
Try getting back To the 2003 version and check ToolsAdd-ins.

I have located several addins in the 2003 Excel version. I will add these to
the 2007 version and see what happens.

Thanks.
