Default Freeze worksheet?

I use a workbook with a large number of worksheets.
Is it possible to freeze one or more worksheets, so they are always visible
on screen?
Also, is there a way of stopping worksheets from moving out of their
original order?
Thanks

#1. Maybe you could use
window|New window
(xl2003 menu system)

Then use
window|arrange|vertical (or what you want)

And arrange them so that you can always see the worksheet you want in one of the
windows.

When you're tired of this, click on the window you want to close and hit ctrl-w.

#2. You can protect the workbook's structure
tools|protection|protect workbook|Check Structure
(still xl2003 menu system)

This stops you from inserting/deleting/hiding/unhiding/moving sheets.

Be aware that this protection is easily broken, though.
