Default EXCEL: Truncating Text Fields to allow Vlookup searches to find da

Currently - have data set that has extra blank spaces at the end of the
fields - of varying length - what formula do you use to truncate the text
fields to show only valid characters?

Please don't tell me it's "truncate".
