I need help in excel - can I create a formula in a cel if for example if you
put an "A" in cel E2 it will lload "no exception taken" in cel F2 if you a
"B" it will say "approved" and so on. Does that make sense?

If there are many conditions then it might be worth setting up a table with
your letter "code" in column A and "message" in B (say on Sheet2) then use
VLOOKUP

in F2: =VLOOKUP(E2,Sheet2!A:B,2,0)

If E2="A" ,it will return the corresponding value from B in Sheet2
