Default Locked Cells and Copy/Paste

Hi:

I recently setup a spreadsheet with multiple pages that has certain fields
locked that should not be changed and certain fields unlocked that will have
entries. The problem is that when the entries are copy/pasted out of
Microsoft Word, it locks the field it was pasted into (that was set as
unlocked), preventing any edits to the pasted item. It does not do this when
you use paste special and choose text, but I am not confident that I can get
everyone using these sheets to remember to paste special each time. Does
anyone know how this automatic locking of fields that have been set as
unlocked can be prevented when copy/pasting?

Thanks a bunch
