How do I select subtotal for a list when it is in grey?
I would like to create a nested subtotal for my list. The problem is...the
Subtotal command in the Data is not activated and is shown in grey. How does the Subtotal command activate? My list is already sorted. |

Hi Student05,
First check that your worksheet is NOT protected. Then highlight the values/rows/columns you wish to subtotal and the option will appear.
