Default Insert Full Path

Do I need to Insert Full Path again if the spreadsheet I opened and re-saved
with a new one already has that?

Default Insert Full Path

You need the full path to find a Excel file to open it............you could
have two files with the same name but in two different
directories.......Excel needs to know the path to find the one you want.

More detail please Roxie.

If you are going through FileSave As and entering a new name, the path will be
the same.

Default Insert Full Path

I tried it and did a print preview on one of the sheets and it didn't work.
I also tried grouping the sheets and just Inserting full path once. It only
worked on the first tab. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to keep on
inserting full path on every sheet in this workbook
Thanks for your help!

Your original post did not state that you were trying to put the full path in a
header or footer for printing.

That is why I asked for more detail.

You should be able to group the sheets and get the full path on all sheets.

If you save as a new name and folder your header/footer will update.
