Default Calculation Speed

Anyone have tips on how to speed up the calculations in a workbook? I've
moved most calculations, where possible, to take place in the same sheet as
the data resides as I seem to recall a tip that this would speed up
calculation. Is there anything else anyone can suggest?

Thank you.
