Am looking for 'Outline Numbering' in Excel (A 1 1 ) - each in separate column; there definitely should be a way to do it... Please help -- Dr. Sachin Wagh MBBS, DHA, DPH |

You can do that manually, but as far as I know there's no built-in outline
function in Excel. Better to use Word for that purpose. I understand Excel not having built-in outline
How about making the manual changes in Columns A & C, while keeping Column B dependent on A & C? - that'll reduce a lot of effort; please advise... -- Dr. Sachin Wagh MBBS, DHA, DPH "Dave F" wrote: You can do that manually, but as far as I know there's no built-in outline function in Excel.
