I tried to save a excel worksheet and it moved to an Incompatible page and I
can't get back to my dataa sheet. How so I get back?

jon dougal -

If you don't get some helpful responses, you may want to provide more
details about exactly what you did and what happened or didn't happen.

And, you could explain what you mean by "loss of fidelity" and "Incompatible
page" and "dataa sheet" in your workbook file.

I agree with everything Mike wrote...

But I've saved this from a previous post--but since I don't really understand
the problem, it may not help <bg. There may be other ways depending on your
reply to Mike's questions.

Sometimes opening and saving in a different version of excel can help (sometimes
not).

If it is a corrupted workbook, you may want to try openoffice. Lots of people
have said that it's recovered workbooks that excel couldn't.

(http://www.openoffice.org, a 60-65 meg download or a CD)

If the file is really important, there are commercial recovery services. I've
never used it, but you might want to check into:
