countif in links
Hi,
I am tring to use Countif between workbooks, but can't get it to work. Here is the formula I entered =countif[Sales.xls]Sheet1'!$B$2."test" It does not return a value, What should I do? Thanks, George |

=countif([Sales.xls]Sheet1'!$B$2,"test")

First, the period before "test" should be a comma. Second, the target files (sales) needs to be open for the formula to work. -- nbrcrunch |
