Default F- Keys

Morning group,

There use to be an F-Key that when you placed your cursor on the cell that
had a formula in it, that it would tell you what that cell calculated too.
I'm using Excel version 2002. Or did that go by the wayside with the newer
versions coming out.

Thanks for all your help.

Default F- Keys

Maybe you mean this?.....

Select a cell containing a formula
Press [F2].....the cell is now in edit mode
Press [F9].....to see the calculated result.

Press [ESC] to reset the cell back to the formula
DON'T press [enter]...unless you want the value to replace the formula

Note: if you select only part of a formula and press [F9], you'll see the
calc'd value for what you selected.

Does that help?
