CAR LEASE CALCULATION WITH RESIDUAL

Subject: CAR LEASE CALCULATION WITH RESIDUAL i'M TRYING TO SET UP A LEASE FOR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT So why does the subject line say "car lease"? The only reason I ask is: if you are truly interested in a car lease, take a look at the online calculator at http://www.edmunds.com/apps/calc/Cal...ion=lease_calc .. Do you need that degree of detail? Assuming not.... AND NEED A CALC IN EXCEL FORMULA TO PROVIDE CLIENTS. THE VALUE OF THE PRODUCT IS 18,000 RESIDUAL 2,000 CAN BE LEASE FOR 12 24 36 MONTHS THE RATE MAY VARY BUT i'M USING 10% I do not see how the same residual would result after a varying number of months. The residual usually depends on the length of the lease -- that is, the value of asset after so many months. Anyway, the following might point you in the right direction. If A1 is the initial value (18000), A2 is the residual (2000), A3 is the annual lease rate (10%) and A4 is the lease term in months (12, 24 or 36), I believe the monthly payment would be: =pmt(A3/12, A4, -A1, A2) |
