Default delete worksheet

I want to delete w worksheet. Under edit, delete, 'delete sheet' is grayed
out. When I left click on the tab, it is grayed out. Under tools, protection,
'protect worksheet' is grayed out. Any suggestions?

Workbook is probably shared.
Tools-Share Workbook.

Check to ensure that you are not "editing" a cell in the workbook or there
are no message boxes that need attention.

Sheet protection does not prevent deleting the sheet, just prtects changes to
the sheet.

You may have workbook protection enabled. Have a look there or at ToolsShare
Workbook.

If workbook is shared you cannot delete sheets.
