<Data
<Import External Data <New Web Query... Now, navigate to the web site that shows your stock price. When you get there, you will see a bunch of arrows in yellow boxes next to all the tables on the web site. Select each one you want imported to your sheet (i.e. the one displaying your stock price). After you've done this click "Import". On the next box click "Properties", then check "Refresh data on file open". Now each time you open your spreadsheet the current stock prices will update. -- Regards, Dave "reeree" wrote: in my excel page, i have a stock portfolio. i would like to open this file daily and have the current stock quote appear without having to go to the web site. how can i link that cell to the current stock price. |
