Drop and drag is copying values instead of formulas
No. I highlight a number of cells, and then attempt to drag the formulas

Press F9 to recalculate your worksheet.

Not clear what is happening from your description, but maybe you are in Manual
calculation mode? ToolsOptionsCalculation. Check Automatic.
