Default Drop and drag is copying values instead of formulas

Why would this happen?

No. I highlight a number of cells, and then attempt to drag the formulas
down. The odd part is, the formulas (v-lookups) will drag down correctly,
but the values of the highlighted cells are what appears.

If you have, show all of it before dragging.

Not clear what is happening from your description, but maybe you are in Manual
calculation mode?

ToolsOptionsCalculation. Check Automatic.
