Pop-up comments?
Our spreadsheets are setup with fixed size cells. So, if someone enters an
exceedingly long string into a cell, only the first 40 or so characters of that string are visible on the page. Does Excel or VBA have any functions for pop-up comments or mouse hover comments?? If the mouse hovers over a cell after a short time period, I would like to display a popup comment box that displays the full string contents of that cell. I think that would be an easy way to quickly show the user the full string that is hiding in that short size cell. Thank you! |

Robert Crandal presented the following explanation :

If you select the cell the contents will be displayed in the FormulaBar. -- Garry Free usenet access at http://www.eternal-september.org ClassicVB Users Regroup! comp.lang.basic.visual.misc microsoft.public.vb.general.discussion |
