![]() hi im using excel 2003. Were using a shared workbook and i want to monitor all the changes all the user made to the file instantly. when the other user made changes in a specific fields i will be able to see it even if that user is not yet saving his changes. Is this possible? If not, is it possible to just have an auto save function in the shared workbook and all the modification made by all the user will be saved automatically even w/o them saving it themselves. |

without saving its not possible to share data
Tools/Options/Save is where one would enable automatic saving. "newbie_010108" wrote in message ... hi im using excel 2003. ![]() Excel 2003 does not an incremental "autosave" feature. It has "autorecovery" under ToolsOptionsSave which is only effective if Excel crashes while you are working on a workbook. Elsewise the temp recovery file is deleted when the workbook is closed. For true incremental timed saving you need the AUTOSAVE.XLA add-in from versions before Excel 2002. I can send you a copy if you email me at gorddibbATshawDOTca Change the obvious. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 3 Jul 2009 06:48:00 -0700, newbie_010108 wrote: hi im using excel 2003.
