Excel locks when opening file not in focus
Hello all
I have several Excel files that run a few procedures as they start and adds a custom ribbon, they are a fair size and take upto 15 seconds to open. Some people cannot wait while the file loads so they check their mail or go into other applications, thus taking the focus away from Excel. This causes Excel to hang, and the button on the task bar flashes orange. Click on the task button and Excel cannot be activated, it is totally frozen. The only way to get Excel back is to kill the process in the task manager. Does anyone have any ideas how to have Excel open up if it isn't the application in focus. Many Thanks |
