Default Web query

In the properties section for that query, (Right CLick on query- properties)
ensure "Refresh data when opening file" is ticked. This will auto update the
query when the workbook is opened.
I guess it should work fine when sent to your co worker. Wouldnt harm by
testing it out before though.

I just learned about this Data Import External Data New Web Query...

I had been copying the data by hand.

I was able to get the data to import OK.
Just as if I had copied it by hand.
My question is, the next time I open the .xls application, will the data
automatically be updated?
Is there an option I have to set, to cause this action to happen
automatically?

If it will automatically update as it is, if I email this improved
application to a coworker, will the improvement be included within the
application or is there another file that also has to be sent?

Thanks
