I have downloaded Consumer Reports ratings symbols (5 symbols from Excellent
to Poor) and I would like to convert symbols to numbers. Tried "if" statements but this does not recognize the "symbol" in the cell. Is there a way to do this in VBA? |

I can't seem to paste the symbols here. I did send an email to Dan Guillett
who was looking into it also. I haven't heard back from him yet. I would be happy to send an email to you with the symbols too. If you are will interested (which I would appreciate), please let me know your email address.
